Falls from heights whilst undertaking maintenance activities on aircraft, can cause serious injury and death. For the victims, their families, and the community, each injury is one too many.
AMCE is a specialist in aviations safety practices, and has developed a number of working at heights(WAH) safety systems and practices for the protection of personnel undertaking aircraft maintenance taskings. Our safety systems are currently in service with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and are used by the squadrons to maintain crew safety when conducting maintenance taskings relating to aircraft types such as DHC4 Caribou, C-130H Hercules and C-130J-30 Hercules. Our safety systems were also being used for the RAAF Boeing 707 while the aircraft were in service with the RAAF.
Our current WAH systems have been designed to meet the operator’s needs - including the need to conduct maintenance taskings in the hangar or flight line; at home base or away base; and/or at a serviced air field or green field site.
We have first hand experience in aircraft maintenance and operations, extensive experience in meeting defence and/or civil regulations regarding occupational, health and safety, and a proven ability to deliver effective aircraft maintenance working at height safety systems.
